Today the World Economic Forum’s Forum of Young Global Leadersannounced their class of 2020 includes Light for the World’s Director of Advocacy and Rights Yetnebersh Nigussie. The Forum of Young Global Leaders is an independent non-profit foundation – founded by Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum. It brings together diverse leaders for a five-year, personalized leadership programme. Young Global Leaders head governments and Fortune 500 companies, are recipients of Nobel Prizes and Academy Awards, and serve as UN Goodwill Ambassadors.

Yetnebersh attended the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2019. They recognized her as one of the top cultural leaders, helping to introduce disability to the agenda of the forum in Davos.
